I wonder how this will affect the 'Truth About The Truth' documentary? A lot of money was already poured into it. Lloyd appears to be in some scenes, but not sure if he's integral, like a host, or just one of many, and if they'll work out that footage or just leave it intact? I'm sure the information and interviews in it have good info, but he would undermine it and give people an excuse to dismiss otherwise legitimate information.

I wonder if he'll retain enough of his audience to have enough income for child support now. His standard of living will likely go down; can't see being able to afford prostitutes, let alone plane trips to see them.
At one point in the live stream he contorted his face and 'cried' with his face in his hands and then two seconds later it was dry and gone. He did at one point say about his wife 'I don't deserve her', but 99.99% of the rest was literally blaming everyone else, including insinuating that his "sexual repression" as a JW was somehow unique.
Her words in the statement about him being narcissistic and manipulative now ring very true, and I'm sorry I was critical of Simon in the past for avoiding links to JW Survey. That website has had some great articles, but it's clear now that this guy really is trouble.

GB Says You Can Fellowship Without Being Reinstated
by Sea Breeze inthere is another way to fellowship with your loved ones after disagreeing with the wt besides getting reinstated.
all you have to do is fling yourself off a boat and start drowning, says watchtower:.
"suppose, then, a member of a christian congregation boating on a lake were to see another boat containing a disfellowshiped person capsize, throwing the disfellowshiped one into the water where he struggled to stay afloat.

That 1999 quote is interesting considering the two videos they made of the JW mother ignoring her daughter's phone calls.

This is so bizarre. All these need to be publicized and their trashy lying lawyers need to be called out to their face when trying to put a spin on things in court.

Call me Suspicious, but ...
by Simon inwhen the president is going somewhere to talk about an infrastructure bill, and wants support for ever more endless spending, some of which is for bridge reconstruction, having a bridge collapse on the very day and in the very place he's going just seems "too perfect", doesn't it?.

Something similar happened with a climate change press conference. I don't have the link for it at the moment, but they chose the hottest day and made sure the air conditioning was shut off.

That was pretty hilarious, and yet the words were really thought provoking! I love the part where Stephen Lett is accidentally riding his sword and holding up his horse at 2:25 🤣

Kusserow kerfuffle
by neat blue dog inokay this is interesting.
usually wt doesn't like to air their squabbles, but maybe they are just doing it because the new york times had a story on it (i can't read it because i'm not a subscriber).

Okay, I just found out that the ex-JW was Hans Werner Kusserow. He was interviewed in the Purple Triangles video, but I had no idea he wasn't a witness. (This video was distributed by WT but was a secular production from a European anthology TV series. Undoubtedly if WT made it he of course would not be included.)

And here's the JW article:
https://www.jw.org/en/news/jw/region/germany/Jehovahs-Witnesses-Seek-Kusserow-Archive/
Anyway, it mentions that there was an ex-JW Kusserow family member who sold the memorobilia to the military museum, do we know who that is, or if they're apostate or just your average ex?

It begins norway no money for wt because of shunning
by Yomama inorganized shunning will stop when money stops.

Good to hear. I will be the first to advocate for freedom of speech and religion and adherence to the US constitution, but whenever someone says that you can't have both, ie you can't legally discourage shunning and not be on a slippery slope I disagree.
You of course can't force individuals not to shun (nor would you want to) but you CAN decide to not grant privileges to religious entities who require such behavior lest the persons themselves be shunned.
Just like consequences for criminal threats isn't a violation of free speech, and just like not allowing a weapon for someone with a history of criminal violence isn't a violation of the right to defend oneself, so too this wouldn't be a violation of religious freedom. In fact it would be a defense of it seeing as millions aren't free to worship or not worship the way they choose, being held hostage based on explicit organizational instructions.
